Case 01 · 2018 · Bikaner district

Skill India carpentry programme

Background
Carpentry in rural Rajasthan has long been a hereditary, informally learnt trade. Narsi Group, Patrika reported, was by 2018 the largest employer in the carpentry sector in Bikaner district.
Objective
To develop carpentry skills among young people and, in Narsi Kularia’s reported words, to give village carpenters recognition and employment (translated from Hindi).
Approach
Narsi Group was selected by the National Skill Development Corporation under the Skill India programme as a skilling partner for carpentry.
Implementation
A first training camp was held at Sanchar in June 2018, training 250 young people. A three-day skill exhibition and job fair followed at Government Dungar College, Bikaner, on 28–30 September 2018, with around 40 companies participating.
Impact
Patrika reported a target of engaging 25,000 young carpenters, with 1,000 already approved at the time of reporting. Later outcomes against that target are not documented in the sources reviewed.
Context
The programme sat within the national Skill India mission. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal was reported as attending the job fair.

Case 02 · Ongoing · Pan-India

Workforce training at scale

Background
A turnkey fit-out business depends on skilled joiners, finishers and installers — trades that India’s formal training system has historically under-served.
Objective
To train and certify workers for the interiors and furniture industry, in partnership with the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council.
Approach
Regular training cohorts delivered through his initiatives, with pan-India training in partnership with FFSC.
Implementation
Roughly 300–400 workers are trained and certified each quarter, according to published profiles.
Impact
More than 4,000 workers reported trained or upskilled in total.
Context
From September 2022 he also chaired FFSC, whose Mission 2025 targeted skilling 500,000 people by 2025–26. See Leadership.

Case 03 · 2020–2024 · Nokha block

Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Centre

Background
According to Oneindia, the project began in 2020 as a CSR effort to enhance healthcare services in Seelwa and the neighbouring villages of Nokha block, a largely rural area of Bikaner district.
Objective
To build a well-equipped primary healthcare centre for the surrounding villages, in memory of Sant Shri Dularam Kularia.
Approach
A CSR project launched in 2020 by Narsi Kularia and Jagdish Kularia of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd., with the finished centre handed over to the Rajasthan government.
Implementation
A ₹15 crore facility on 12,100 square yards in Moolwas village, with an operation theatre, X-ray, CBC testing, a 24-hour pharmacy, OPD, 14 beds for women, 8 beds for men and a 50,000-litre rainwater-harvesting tank.
Impact
Inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on 28 July 2024; reported to serve Seelwa, Charkra, Dawa, Tant, Kedli and Badhda. Patient-volume data is not published in the sources reviewed.
Context

Case 04 · 2019 · National

Contribution to Bharat Ke Veer

Background
On 14 February 2019, a suicide attack on a convoy in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, killed 40 CRPF personnel.
Objective
To support the families of the soldiers killed.
Approach
A direct contribution to Bharat Ke Veer, the government-backed fund supporting families of Central Armed Police Forces personnel who die on duty.
Implementation
A contribution of ₹21 lakh. The exact date is not stated in the source.
Impact
Funds routed through Bharat Ke Veer reach the families of personnel directly; an individual breakdown is not published.
Context
The attack prompted contributions to the fund from across India.
